Contracting Software Services did not start in a software office. It grew up inside a working general contractor, solving the exact problems that fragment a builder's day, and it was proven on live projects before it was ever offered to anyone else.
We got tired of paying more every year for tools that still could not agree on a number, and of stitching together six systems that were never meant to talk. So we built one that does everything, configurable enough to feel custom for whoever runs it.
Your data lives once. The estimate becomes the budget, the change order updates the GL, the timecard becomes payroll, on its own.
The verticals, the compliance gates, and the way a change order actually counts are the real rules of construction, not a generic tool with a hard-hat sticker.
Every number comes from your live data. When there is not enough to say something yet, the software says so instead of faking it.

The founder's own name, Kromhout, is Dutch for bent wood, and his construction company is Bentwood. Bentwood furniture is a single piece of wood steam-bent into a strong form, with no joints and no fasteners, one continuous piece. That is the software too: one continuous system, one source of truth, nothing bolted on and no fragile seams to break. It was built by a working GC on the very principle his own name describes.
